Interview Location

In person Interviews will be held at:

Marathon Los Angeles Refinery – Carson

Carson, CA 90810

  • At the time of your interview you will be asked to provide a copy of the following acceptable forms of ID:
    • A valid photo ID: California Drivers’ License, California ID, Real ID, or Passport.
    • If you don’t have these items, we will need a copy of your pictured School Identification and your Birth Certificate.
  • Arrive to your interview 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
  • There will be 3 interviewers on the interviewing panel.
  • Interview should be no longer than 30 minutes.

Interviewing Tips

Here are some tips to help you rock your Interview.

  • Practice and do trial interviews. There is a wealth of information available online about job interviews.
  • Dress for success – research “business casual” online to see minimum dress code requirements.
  • Have a copy of the all the documents you submitted so that you can refer to them during the interview.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your interview time. Do not arrive late!
  • Smile and make eye contact when shaking hands and during the interview.
  • Be mindful of your body language and posture.
  • Speak clearly, slowly, and with confidence. Avoid fidgeting and speaking too fast.
  • Research the company for which you are interviewing and have questions prepared to ask your interviewers.
  • Be yourself. You are amazing!
